Artist / singer/ songwriter/ rapper/ choerographer
Born in the mid-west in a single parent home Mykul was raised by
mother (Connie) an 5 sisters, at the age of 9 Mykul lost his
mother to a battle with lupus, then he and his sisters
were adopted by there grand parents being the only boy was'nt easy,
raised in a household devoted to church gave him early
influences an it was there he discovered his passion for singing/music.
(Unaware that his talent for music and singing came from
his fathers side which is full of musicans, teachers and band directors)
Mykul quickly recognized his talents and spent many
years thereafter sharpening them.
After leaving his home at the age of 16 mykul was highly
known for his dancing skills in all the local night clubs winning talent
contest all over the city. Mykul met and hooked
up with (levi ceasar) Prince's band director and right hand man, again he
was chosen to do
choreography for Prince's up an coming new artists. (purple melody world tour)
A few years later mykul formed a group called the
"DONZ" in which landed him a record deal with the NBA star(Tyrone
Hill)
formely of the Millwakee Bucks. After the
label went under the group decided to move from the mid-west to Atlanta in 1999
with a production company called "BABYHONEY
RECORDS" It was there were they changed there name to "VIP"
signed to
to BABYHONEY RECORDS the group released their album
"ALL ACCESS" toured with everyone from Usher to Destiny's Child all summer of 2000-2001, after bad managment and
conflicting executive decions the company went under in 2003.
After 5 years of living in Atlanta and some success
with the "ALL ACCESS" album Mykul decided to move to Las Vegas
and
remained with the group until the fall of 2008,
being the lead singer, song writer and choreographer for the group mykul is now
residing in Miami where
he's currently working on his own projects as well as executive producing and
shooting his own reality
